Emily Frowen
At FRODOG, I combine passion and expertise to make dog training fun and fulfilling. From active breeds to Scurry Dog sports, my goal is to build better bonds and promote responsible dog ownership- one happy dog at a time.
I’m Emily, the face behind Frodog. For me, dogs aren’t just a job—they’re a way of life, and I absolutely love what I do. I share my life with three amazing (and very different) dogs: Bear, my handsome German Shepherd; Scout, the wild Collie with endless energy; and of course, Beau, who proudly features in my logo!
Each of them brings their own unique challenges and lessons when it comes to training, which keeps me learning and growing as a handler. In my quest to meet their breed-specific needs, we discovered Scurry Dog—a sport that taps into dogs’ natural instincts like hunting, retrieving, and problem-solving. I was instantly hooked by how much it aligns with what dogs were born to do.

What began as a simple dog-walking venture has evolved into so much more. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of dogs, especially focusing on active breeds and pack dynamics. This year, I proudly became a Scurry Dog Instructor, a journey that’s constantly pushing me to grow—not just as a trainer, but as a person.
My mission with Frodog is simple: to bring the fun back into dog training.
A happy, fulfilled dog strengthens the bond we share and creates happier humans too. Beyond that, I believe responsible, proactive dog ownership can positively impact our wider communities. While dog ownership sometimes gets a bad reputation, I’m determined to help shift that narrative—one well-trained, happy dog at a time.
