At bearsk9s we focus on enrichment, play and fulfillment-based training. I prioritise helping owners build better relationships, communication and trust with their dogs through fun and engaging training.
Hiya im Holly, I have a 2 year old german shepherd called Didyme who is my working
assistance dog.
I have spent the past few years studying canine behaviour, welfare and training, as well as completing multiple courses and mentorships. However, by far, the best teachers I have ever had are the dogs, every dog I have worked with has taught me something new.
I have a huge passion for fulfilment and finding the correct activity to satisfy your individual dog. I hope to bring more education to the topic as I believe it is something that would support most pet households and further their training significantly. My goal is to bring a new sense of enrichment to both working and pet dog owners. Showing how play, games and fulfilment can help create happier, more balanced dogs in a fun, enjoyable way.

Bearsk9s was inspired by my 2 german shepherds, Arrow and Didyme, who completely changed the way I see training, behaviour and the relationship we build with our dogs.
Amongst other things they taught me how to work with behavioural issues, lack of fulfilment and high levels of drive and arousal.
At bearsk9s the focus is on not only creating confident, fulfilled dogs, but building lasting relationships and incredible teamwork between dog and handler. We use play and enrichment to help owners better understand their dogs, improving their communication and trust.
Every dog is an individual, which is why training is tailored to each dog, working with their genetics, drives, emotions and natural behaviours rather than against them. Alongside Scurry Dog, I also offer other sports such as Mantrailing and Treibball. Whether it's sports, confidence building, engagement, play skills or everyday behaviour struggles, my aim is to make training achievable and enjoyable for both dog and handler.
