I’m Issi residing in Crowborough, East Sussex with my husband Mike and our four dogs: Rusty, Bean, Strudel and Ballie. Working breeds have always had a special place in my heart. I’m endlessly fascinated by their drive, intelligence and enthusiasm and I believe that when we channel those traits correctly, we create a truly exceptional partnership.
I regularly work my own dogs on local shoots and understand the importance of reliability, steadiness and clear communication in real life environments. I enjoy helping owners develop their dogs' focus, impulse control and confidence while celebrating the traits they were bred for.
I’m also passionate about other dog sports including agility and, of course, Scurry Dog! I love the way these activities strengthen team work and give dogs a positive outlet for their desires. For me sport and fieldwork aren’t about pressure, they’re about connection, enrichment and learning to work in harmony.
Professionally, I have completed training courses with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, I am a qualified Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor and a proud member of The Dog Trainer School.
My goal is to create confident dogs and capable handlers through ethical, thoughtful training.
