Lee Stone
Dog trainer and behaviour consultant based in Tamborine, Queensland (Australia) specialising in reactive (“spicy”) dogs and bully breeds. Helping dogs and their humans develop calm, confident and fulfilled lives through practical, real-world training

Hi, I’m Lee Stone - dog trainer, behaviour consultant, and professional lover of “spicy” dogs.
For over 15 years, I’ve worked professionally with dogs and parrots, building a deep understanding of behaviour, learning, and communication across species. My background includes certifications such as CPDT-KA (currently lapsed) and FFCP, and I’m passionate about ongoing education and continually evolving my skills, often travelling interstate and internationally to attend workshops and events.
I have a particular soft spot for reactive dogs and bully breeds - the misunderstood, the sensitive, the big personalities. I love helping people move past frustration and toward clarity, confidence, and a better relationship with their dog.
My approach focuses on real-world training, the human-animal bond, and helping dogs find fulfillment by meeting their breed-specific needs and natural behaviours.
When I’m not training, you’ll usually find me hiking with my sister or my dog, Eevee, an American Staffy (cross honourary Gundog). At Nosework trials, or Mantrailing with Eevee in the forest. Hanging out with my 4 parrots (2 Macaws, a Caique and an Eclectus) or working around our small acreage bush block on the edge of the Scenic Rim region.
Animal Haus Behaviour and Training
Animal Haus Behaviour & Training provides practical, behaviour-focused dog training across SE Queensland.
Specialising in reactive (“spicy”) dogs and ‘Bully’ breeds, but working with all dogs. We offer puppy training, foundation skills, behaviour consultations, speciality classes and tailored training programs designed for real life.
Animal Haus also delivers Scurry Dog classes, workshops, and specialised programs. Lee is proud to be the first Australian and international Scurry Dog Instructor, bringing this unique and enriching activity to dogs and their humans in the region.
Our focus is on improving reliability, engagement, confidence, dog/human connection and overall fulfilment by addressing breed-specific needs, natural behaviours, and the underlying drivers of behaviour. Our training prioritises teaching dogs what behaviours to do, rather than relying on suppressing undesirable behaviours, with the dog (and humans) safety, comfort and wellbeing at the heart of our programs.
